Last couple of months were full of Android activities. A number Android mobiles were announced and launched. The buzz was also due to Mobile world congress held in Barcelona where major players like Nokia, Samsung etc showed off their plans regarding future mobile launches.
Since the count of budget Androids are increasing day by day, we have also bifurcated the Top 5 Android under Rs. 15,000 in to 2 different series. First of the series, Best Android phones in India below Rs. 10,000 was published yesterday. Top 5 Androids below 15k (this story) will enlist only the Android mobiles falling in the price range of Rs 10k to 15k.

1. Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 : Rs. 9,000

Samsung Galaxy Fit can be referred as elder brother of Galaxy Pop. By paying around 1k extra, you get a bigger screen and a better camera. However, the screen resolution is same which doubts its ability to run high graphics Android Games.

2. LG Optimus One P500 : Rs. 10,700
   If you are not satisfied with its low resolution screen of Galaxy Pop and Fit, head to LG Optimus one. The phone looks sturdy packed in a sleek chassis crafted out of soft touch plastic with a thin metallic rims and a chrome like bezel. LG has already promised Android 2.3 upgrade for it. No Swype text input though.

3. Samsung Galaxy 551 I5510 : Rs. 11599

f you are hardcore fan of qwerty and love Android too, better go for Samsung Galaxy 551. Its another Android 2.2 Froyo phone with a slide out QWERTY. Other features like Integrated social networking apps, video and image sharing (like Youtube, Picasa, and Gtalk), Google search, and mail provide all tools for maintaining an online presence. Google Maps with location tracker provides the core navigational tool for On-road presence.

HTC Wildfire was launched way back in Mid 2010 with Android 2.1 and went popular like a wildfire. The firmware upgrade to Android 2.2 is already available, so do ask your mobile retailer for a Froyo pre-installed mobile. Other wise you will need to do it over the air. It comes with 5 Mega Pixel Camera with Led Flash, however posses a weaker CPU of 528 MHz only.

Yet another mobile from Samsung Galaxy series which thankfully posses a better screen resolution then that of Galaxy Pop & Fit. It also has a 5 Mega Pixel camera with led flash and other features like Geo-tagging, smile detection etc. However it lacks support for Adobe Flash in the web browser which is a key selling point of Android 2.2
