iOS 4.3.4 Gets Jailbroken, Despite Recent Update...

Just last week, we wrote about Apple’s upcoming iOS 4.3.4 and how it would prevent people from jailbreaking their devices.

Well, it looks like the iPhone can still be hacked, at least to an extent. In order to continue using your jailbroken phone or iPad, simply keep the unit hooked up to your PC via the sync cable and you’ll be able to continue using your machine.

Of course, the whole purpose between jailbreaking a portable device is so you can stay mobile (not tethered to your desktop PC all day). The security update also patched an integer overflow-related bug, an incomplete code signing issue.

Now, just because you can continue to use a jailbroken device with the latest PDF patch, doesn’t mean the Apple dev team won’t find another way around “solving the jailbreaking epidemic”.

Hopefully, there will be a couple clever hackers who will find another way to jailbreak their iOS devices, but I guess we will just have to wait and see who will be ballsy enough to stand up to this version of iOS, and if iOS 5 will be immune to jailbreaking. Check out the video to learn more about the Commix Jailbreak, if you haven’t already updated.....
