Japan’s mobile carriers, every summer, are releasing a number of attention-grabbing handsets which are all a part of their summer 2011 program.

The Japanese market too are getting swamped and taken over by smart phones specifically by iPhones and Android, however, the Japanese mobile carriers are persistent too and it seems like they would sit back from introducing their cell phones. Lately they have rolled out some really cool featured smart phones.

Casio CA-01C, which NTT Docomo (leading Japanese telco) started distributing, is one of its kind. Precisely, the device can be called a quality phone, but it outshines all the other smartphones out there when it comes to most specifications.

The specs are 3.4-inch/naked-eye 3D touch display with 480×854 resolution, 0.8-inch OLED sub-display, 16.3MP CMOS sensor, camera: special mobile Exilim engine, full HD video recording, 3D picture display, 3x digital zoom, LED flash, DLNA support, dust-and waterproof body, Wi-Fi IEEE802.11n, Bluetooth, infrared connection, digital TV tuner, E-wallet function, battery: 220 minutes continuous talk time, 560 hours stand-by on 3G.

The specs sounds wild, but actually this device is a phone and digital Exilim camera integrated into one. One of its functions called the business shot automatically corrects shots taken diagonally in conference rooms or halls. Expectations are such phones will restore the lost legacy of Japanese mobile carriers,,,
